  • Awful Customer Service!

    I filed a claim with Homesite regarding my damage from Hurricane Sandy on December 2. I have called and left numerous messages for the adjuster and his supervisor. No returned calls. I have mold in my house from the water damage. I have a five year old daughter! Me and my daughters are constantly getting sick from breathing in the mold. I am planning on suing the company for misrepresentation of their company policies. This is the worst home insurance company I have been with.   • Worst Expereince

    My policy was cancelled by Homesite because my kitchen was under construction during their underwriting/inspector visit in May. So they sent a letter to me stating I'm cancelled and I would be given a check for my prorated balance (463.00)in two weeks. I called them for the past 4 months waiting and checking for this check that never came. I called them today after I was promised that it would be sent in two weeks.   • Horrible customer service

    I am experiencing miserable service from Homesite with regards to a claim. I submitted a claim over 2 weeks ago and was assigned an insurance adjuster, I have left more than 10 messages for the Homesite adjuster and she has chosen to never return a call. I call and ask to speak with someone else and they transfer me to the same adjuster’s voicemail. I called Progressive, the company that sold me the policy, and they suggested that I should just insist on speaking with someone.   • Poor communication from Homesite Insurance

    I have had great difficulty obtaining information about whether my home owners insurance with Homesite will cover damage caused by heavy rains. When called to find out if it was covered, the representative would not give me any information but took down all the details to file a claim. She told me that I would receive a call from my adjuster within 24 hours. After not receiving that call, I called the company back and asked about my claim's status.
